I thought I would start listing my menus for others to read. I do not plan specific meals for specific nights but I do plan a weeks worth of dinners. So here is what my menu looks like for next week.
Dinners for the next week will be:
- Beer Butt Chicken cooked with veggies and potatoes in the bottom of the pan
- Spaghetti Amitriciana served with Garlic Bread (pilsbury canned french loaf baked, then split. Then sprayed with FF butter spray and garlic powder)
- Chicken Pot Pie (WW’s recipe that I top w/ RF cresent rolls)
- Provolone Pita Pizza served with garden salad and FF dressing
- Mexican Night! – Quesadilla’s (10 inch flour tortilla with 1.5 oz velveeta mexican) filled with Spicy Black Bean and Zucchini filling and served with Black Bean and Corn Wontons
- Asian Night! – Fried Noodles and veggies with Mini Shrimp Rolls (for fried noodles – boil one pkg of Oriental flavored Ramen noodles according to package. Drain and toss with seasonings. Then stirfry with veggies in skillet. Recipe makes 2 servings)
Lunch for next week will be:
- Tortilla-less Tortilla Soup
- Ham, Laughing Cow (lite swiss) and wheat bread sandwich with veggies on it
Snacks for the next week will be:
- Cherry tomatoes
- Bananas
- Grapes
- WW’s 1 pt cakes/2 pt bars/smoothies
- 94% FF popcorn
I know that we are having dinner out on Friday 26th. It is our 5 year anniversary of living in Germany. We are going to the same place we ate on our first night here. So that will take up on dinner. Also Fridays at lunch is usually when my office group goes out. So this is mainly a ‘working plan’ that can change depending on the week. I use this list to plan my shopping list.
