I cannot believe what my office mate said to me today. I have, foolishly, thought he was my friend and started telling him some of the things I eat and stuff about my Weight Watchers Plan/Program. Well I thought he was really supportive but today I think I had a revelation about the whole situation. [...]

Roni makes another great point with her 2nd Step to a Healthier You. She points out that we should stop thinking of our chosen eating plans as “being on a diet”….if you think about it we are all on diets…the word “diet” mainly means the food you consume each day. Anyways she makes great points [...]

I need to remember my plan….especially tonight while we are at a going away dinner at Hooters. I have only eaten there once and I can remember that most of their items are not healthy…thus not point friendly. I have saved up the majority of my WPA and I will get a walk [...]
About Me
I am 28 years and working to change my life. I am a full time graduate student, working full time and trying to lose weight. I want to be happy with myself with I look in the mirror. So what am I do to change things?
My goal is to become as eliminate as many animal products from my diet as possible. I am going 100% vegetarian. No meat in my diet. I am trying to be as vegan as possible but sometimes here in Germany I find it hard to end up with a somewhat balanced meal that does not include a tiny bit of dairy. So I will allow cheese and eggs on RARE occasions but will pass them up as much as possible. At home I have no problem passing up animal products.
Hopefully this change in my diet will also aid in my weight loss. My motivation is going well. I am finding that my clothes are fitter loser than before and I feel better than I have in years. I hope this will be the road to recovering my self esteem. If nothing else it is a healthy move in the right direction.
